X1 Platform :: Entity

Goal
To establish consistent patterns and templates to display all types of content available on the X1 platform and allow for a easily recognizable experience regardless of what device they choose to access on. We used 'Entity'  to describe a recognizable pattern that can adapt to display all content types.

Role
Responsible for creation and management of all cross-platform 'Entity' pages.  Specific versions were created for Movies, TV Shows, Sports Teams, Networks, Channels, Music Videos, and Specials. Created hierarchy to support multiple sources (Linear, DVR, On Demand) and worked with content teams to manage and dictate metadata formats.

Process 
Came to initial design based on research and feedback heard from previous versions of the interface. Worked with data and API teams to finesse information that was available to us. We then tested repeatedly with users in their homes, and updated and improved as we gathered and assessed feedback.
